Spring balancers and zero gravity balancers from Carl Stahl Kromer offer a five times higher service life than comparable products from other manufacturers.
The zero gravity balancers from Carl Stahl Kromer impress with their ideal balancing performance that distinguishes them clearly from many competition products.

A completely new series of retractors, with more cable travel range and improved load setting – these were the core deliverables for our engineers. Now, almost two years later, we are pleased to officially introduce to you our new retractors.
The new models of the 7200, 7211 and 7221 spring balancer series clearly impress with their stylish design, but the technical improvements, while not hitting the eye, are even more important. All retractors now come with a standardized cable extension length of 1.6 m, 2.5 m or 3.0 m, depending on the model. In addition, the load setting procedure has been significantly simplified by eliminating the spring eye on the outside of the housing. As already successfully implemented in the 7228 balancer, load setting is now done simply with an Allen wrench, and the 7221 model even offers continuous load setting via an adjusting screw. Moreover, the load ranges of all the models have been further optimized for more flexible use across a wider range of different applications. The ease of servicing has also been improved for the 7221 balancer (regarding cable and spring replacement). Besides, this model now offers effective overrotation protection when releasing the spring.
Moreover, the new spring balancers 7211 and 7221 will also be available in an “Air” version – an optimal solution for use with pneumatic tools.
All in all, these innovations will enable customers to use our products more diversely, with more ease, over longer periods and, most importantly, with less fatigue.
